Centuries ago, when The Good freely roamed the earth, we befriended an unbelievably entertaining Chicago rock quartet known as The Charming Beggars. The two bands played together a handful of times, and it was always fun squared. A year ago January, The Good enjoyed one of our most memorable shows ever at Martyrs in Chicago, but it's been well over a decade since the Beggars have graced the stage in any serious fashion.

So it is with great pleasure that we submit to you advance notice of a once-in-a-millennium double bill not seen since somewhere in the mid-nineties:
