GOOD MP3'S
In September of 2000, The
Good finished 3 new recordings for free fan consumption.
The first is a loving
rendition of Britney Spears' "Oops, I Did It Again," released on
Thursday, September 28.
The second is a new original
inspired by a headline in The Onion. It's called "Cash Room B,"
it was released on Thursday, October 5, and it features some cool
drum loops by our pal Blake Cooper. You can get the lyrics for "Cash
Room B" by clicking here.
The third and final song
was released on Thursday, October 12. It's a melodic reworking of
one of the earliest and greatest rap songs of all time: "The Message"
by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five.
All songs were recorded
by longtime co-conspirator Scott Ramsayer at Kingsize Sound Labs
in Chicago.

What, you don't trust
us when we tell you our latest record is great? Here, download these
tantalizingly incomplete snippets of new Good songs and find out
for yourself.
But be careful. If we
catch you at a live show, singing along to part of a song, then
crapping out on the rest, we'll rat you out as being too cheap to
buy the whole CD. Skinflint.

Here's a good.org exclusive:
you can also download these never-before-released tracks from The
Good's 1998 Ghosts of Rock and Roll Past Halloween show in Chicago.
These songs are complete. Completely cool.

3. Fugue for Tinhorns -- with revised

Or, for another cheap
thrill, listen in as The Good sell out for a Budweiser beer radio
commercial. Is it better than Spuds Mackenzie or those wisecracking
frogs? You decide.
